So, I've been watching the 2009 fall season of shows pretty obsessively this year (when I find time to breathe between university homework assignments).
And no, it's not because I'm a T.V. addict and can't find anything better to do with my time...It's just, well, good. There's a slew of shows that I can't seem to pry my eyes away from. And frankly, Rogers On Demand has probably been my saving grace - it's amazing! It simply doesn't allow me to miss all my favorite shows. That can be a bad thing, but let's not dwell on this for now.
Moving on to the real meat...
Let's talk about 'Glee'. Okay, how amazing is this show? Its got everything I live and breathe for - music, drama and music. It's not bad music either. The music is either current, or are ridiculous throwbacks that will get you up on your feet dancing whether dancing is your thing or not (when Matthew Morrison started singing 'I Wanna Sex You Up' by Color Me Badd, I nearly had a brain aneurysm - in a good way). Not to mention that high definition makes it pretty damn visually stimulating - something that is a must for me. It's amazing. Watching this show makes me wish I had a talent.

Because folks, I am talentless.
Another show that has me in the palm of it's hands, would have to be 'The Vampire Diaries'. I know, I know. Kill her now, right? But I must confess, it is a guilty pleasure of mine - and honestly, it isn't that bad (though, I haven't read the novel, so I really have nothing to compare it to). The plot isn't exactly solid, and some of the acting is mediocre at best; but it's well on its way. It also may be filled with teenage angst, love triangles and vampires, but that happens to be the stuff that catches my interest these days. Sad as it is. Be that as it may, it's pretty darn good. Besides, there's enough eye candy in there to last me as few more episodes, I can't tell a lie.
I urge you to check them both out - especially 'Glee'. That is all.
