I've finally had some time to just sit down and relax without having that disgusting tick in the back of my head telling - sorry, demanding - me to do my blasted homework. Well, I still do have homework to do, but not exactly anything of high importance.
I label everything that way.
Moving on though, I don't really have anything in particular to talk about. No television show in particular to gush about - though, that doesn't mean that I don't. I just figured it was time to step away from that for now. But, I will talk about something that does pertain to television. Because, if I didn't, that would defeat the whole purpose of the blog.
I was recently on Just
Jared (a gossip site of sorts), and I read a blog post related to Lauren Conrad, the ex 'Hills' star that recently wrote that book 'L.A Candy'? You know, the book that's now becoming A MOVIE? Yes, I don't know how that happened, but it seems as if anything can become a movie now a days. But that's besides the point. The real point of all my blabbering would be the fact that in the little interview she mentioned her television obsession with 'Glee' (which isn't all that surprising, because I am too), and The Discovery Channel. Including shows like, 'Dirty Jobs' and 'Deadliest Catch'.
Really?
Now, don't get me wrong, I adore The Discovery Channel as well as 'Dirty Jobs' (haven't quite gotten into the latter) - I do! But knowing that Lauren Conrad, likes it as well, is kind of...for lack of a better word, surprising. Now, that got me thinking, if people like Lauren Conrad likes a show like that, maybe there's hope for people like her after all. For someone who is as judgemental to think that people such as her wouldn't even bother with a show like that, it made me like her a little bit. And yes, I know it's laughable to sa
y that the only reason why I like her now is because she has an interest in The Discovery Channel, but I can't help it. Maybe she isn't as much of an airhead as I once thought.
Just a thought.
